Surf Fishing Report:
To say we had rain yesterday would be an under statement. There were fish caught . There were Sea Mullet in Avon, Croaker in Buxton. We had Sea Mullet and small Spot reported.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching the nice Striper caught by Joe V. and some small bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: People are fishing.
Nags Head: Bluefish, a Mullet, small Spot and a keeper Flounder on the first day of the season.
Jennette’s: Nata.
Outer Banks: Mullet and Perch.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore fishing was not easy but they got it done caching Spanish, Ribbonfish, Bluefish, Sea Bass and Triggers. Plenty Trout and Drum are caught in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet was back fishing for dinner yesterday and it was a good showing for Tuna and the filet. The Tilefish catches are still awesome.

The winds are W at 11 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Cloudy, showers,, light winds, nice swells. The surfers are out.
