Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing has been slow this week. The weather has been wretched. Having said that, there was a good run of Puppy Drum north of ramp 4 at Coquina Beach. Cush Walton and his group limited out with Drum. The sun is shining and the beach is beautiful.

The winds are NW at 15 and the water temp is 64 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
I have a report from the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway. Fishing has been good this week despite the rain and high winds. The Haber’s caught plenty of Trout, Bluefish and there were Stripers caught as well. They were fishing with gotchas, fish bites on bottom rigs and also small bluefish chunks.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Blues and Trout.

Nags Head: Blues and Trout.

Jennette’s: No report.

Outer Banks: Blues, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, Black Drum and Specks.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
A few inshore boats got out yesterday and caught a good amount of Rockfish.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was another day the big boats could not sail.
