Surf Fishing Report:
Anglers are beaching a few Sea Mullet, Blues and Black Drum. There were also Speckle Trout caught in Nags Head. Cush Walton and Fred Rau caught 19 in Puppy Drum and many no keepers fishing Coquina Beach. (Picture).
We have N wind at 9 and the water temp is 61 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
Ron Musgrave has fished the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway all week catching plenty of Stripers. Most of them are keepers and a few in the 23 in range. Ron caught a personal record with one weighing in at 14 lbs and measuring 34 in. (Picture).
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Trout. Albacore circling the pier this morning. Caught 4 yesterday.
Nags Head: Trout, Bluefish and a couple of Flounder
Jennette’s: Plenty of Blues and some Black Drum.
Outer Banks: Blues and Trout.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Boats are catching their limits of Stripers.
Offshore Boats Report:
The boats stayed tied to the docks.
