Happy New Year! Making more time to fish might be one of your resolutions.
The day is going to be cloudy with not much chance of rain. The weather is looking up, some.
Despite the weather, fishing was pretty good. Anglers caught on the beaches south of us. Frisco reported Sea Mullet and Blow toads. Buxton added Bluefish to the mix and 2 big Drums were caught behind the Motels. Ramp 43 was the hot spot to fish with Drum, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Sheepshead and Blow Toads.
Jennette’s Pier caught Bluefish yesterday.
Robert Finchem caught Largemouth Bass in Nags Head. Nice. (Pictures).
The winds are NE at 8. The ocean is rough. I have no read on the water temp this morning.
