Surf Fishing Report:

A fair amount of fish were caught from the surf yesterday. Small Bluefish and small Trout were caught. Linda Harper caught a huge flattie. As usual, Dennie Bomar caught Drum. If there is one in the surf, he is going to catch it.

We have another beautiful day with Carolina blue skies. The water is pretty white this morning with the waves breaking beyond the piers.

The winds are ESE at 17 and the water temp is 63 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
Anglers caught Stripers on the Little Bridge and the wild life pier on Nags Head/Manteo causeway last night.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Blues and Trout.

Nags Head: Mullet, Blues and Trout.

Jennette’s: A big Sea Mullet bite early morning. Spot and small Gray Trout.

Outer Banks: Trout and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore and nearshore boats are catching a generous amount of Stripers.


Offshore Boats Report:
It was a gorgeous day for the fleet and they were due. They reeled in a considerable amount of really big Yellowfin and several good size Blackfin. There also was a whopping 164 lb Big Eye Tuna caught.
