Surf Fishing Report:
We will have rain all day. Fishing was fair the weekend. The Branner’s fished north of the inlet and reported small Puppy Drum, a few 18 in keepers scattered. There were the usual small Trout with some keepers along our beaches and Bluefish as well.
The winds are NE at 11 and the water temp is 64 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.
Nags Head: Trout and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Puffers, Bluefish, Trout and Sea Mullet. One Red Drum.
Outer Banks: Small Bluefish, Trout and Black Drum. Lost a Red this morning.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boats are catching nice Stripers.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats came back to the docks with a mix of Yellowfin, Blackfin, a few Wahoo and some Dolphin.
