Off shore fleet caught a good amount of Yellowfin and Blackfin Saturday. A few Wahoo were also caught, one citation weighing 52 lbs.
The nearshore charters caught Stripers. Only a few keepers. The inshore boats caught Stripers as well and added some nice keeper Flounder with their catches.
Jennette’s pier reported Sea Mullet and Trout this morning and Nags Head has Trout and Blues. All the piers will be closing today for the season other than Jeannette’s.
Surf fishing is slow with a few small Trout and juvenile Drum caught along the north beaches.
We have west wind at 8 and the water temp is 59 degrees.
