Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing was fair from the beaches yesterday. Trout, Blues, Sea Mullet and puffers were caught. The water is rough this morning and fisherable.

Today is another dreary day on the Outer Banks. It calls for a tip of the day. All ORV fishermen who drive our National Parks. You can get your permits on line. It is much easier than having to go to one of the 3 stations designated for ORV permits.

There are two types of permits: 7-day/$50 permits (valid from the date issued) and

Annual/$120 permits

The winds are NE at 17 and the water temp is 64 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Blues and Trout

Nags Head: Blues and Trout, a few keepers.

Jennette’s: Puffers and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Trout, Bluefish, Black Drum, Sea Mullet and puffers. A lot of bait in the water.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No inshore or offshore boats sailed Tuesday.


Offshore Boats Report:
It was a rainy ugly day yesterday but the fleet manages to bring limits of Yellowfin, some Blackfin and a few Wahoo back to the docks.
