Surf Fishing Report:
It turned out to be a great surf fishing day Sunday. I was on the Oregon Inlet beach yesterday at ramp 4 and there were Drum. The Drum were on all our beaches from Oregon Inlet to Corolla. Plenty of pictures this morning. Today should be another good day with the conditions being the same. The wind is NW at 5 and the water temp is 61 degrees. We have coffee like water up close. Having said that, Trout are biting from the surf. Trout fishing fair beside the Avalon Pier and good holes south of OBX after the big blow we had last week.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Specks & Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Mullet, and Trout.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Black Drum and small Trout.
Outer Banks: Double header Black Drum, small Trout, little Spot and Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No report.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet went out yesterday and had a good day with plenty of Dolphin, Nice Tuna, a few Wahoo and a Blue Marlin weighing in at 400 lbs.
