Surf Fishing Report:
It is a better day day with the wind having switched north. Surf fishing should pick up.
The Cape has reported Shark for the last several days and some Sea Mullet up and down the beaches. We have had small Spot and Sea Mullet. Mike Walworth said he was fishing the outgoing tide. He would throw his bait in the wash and just wait. He caught about a dozen Sea Mullet like that and a dozen juvenile Puppy Drum 10 t0 12 in.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching some Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:Flounder, Sea Mullet, Croaker.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Mullet and Flounder.
Jennette’s: Slow.
Outer Banks: Keeper Puppy Drum, Flounder and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The nearshore and inshore charters caught Seabass, Triggers, Ribbonfish, Albacore, and Spanish. Sound fishing for Trout and Drum remain good.

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet are catching Blue, White and Sailfish everyday. It is nice to see the flags flying when the boats come in. They did catch some meatfish, Yellowfin, Dolphin and Tilefish but it was a slow day.

The winds are N at 9 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Sunny, light winds, choppy, sloppy swells.
