Light offshore breezes made Sea Bass fishing outstanding yesterday for the Pirates Cove Fleet. The fish weighing in up to 4.5 lbs
Three boats sailed from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center and returned with some Blackfin, Wahoo, Dolphin and Yellowfin as well.
Anglers fishing for Stripers are catching their limits. Today I have a picture of one that may be a bit contentious.
Surf fishing was really good yesterday south of us. There was some Drum and Sea Mullet, Trout, Bluefish, Blow Toads and Flounder. We had a few Trout, Bluefish and Skate.
Jennette’s Pier caught Skate, Bluefish and a nice size False Albacore.
The winds are WSW at 8 and the water temp is 58 degrees.
