Surf Fishing Report:
Summertime fishing. It's really laid-back. There were Spanish again at the Cape but most too far out to reach. Sea Mullet and Pompano on the beaches. Sea Mullet and Spot on the north beaches with Drum at the Inlet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching bottom fish with some Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:Spanish, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Spot, Flounder, Mullet and Puppies.
Jennette’s: Spot
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The nearshore anglers had Ribbonfish, False Albacore and Drum. Inshore sound fishing if good with Trout, Flounder and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Billfish are dominated the news this week with every boat returning to the docks with flags flying. There were Dolphin and Wahoo reported with Tilefish.

The winds are WSW at 14 and the water temp is in the middle 70's. Sunny, light winds, small swells.
