Surf Fishing Report:
Pompano and Sea Mullet were reported in Frisco's ramp 49 and Ramp 55 had Spanish and good Drum bite and Pompano. It is awfully slow on this side of the bridge. I am sure there was some Sea Mullet and Spot but got no word on either. Weather wise it looks like it is going to be a good weekend.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:Pompano, Spanish, Bluefish, Spot and Gray Trout.
Nags Head: Pompano, Mullet.
Jennette’s: Slow.
Outer Banks: Pompano,Mullet and a Puppy Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore had catches of Spanish, Alabacore and Ribbonfish. Inshore anglers catching Flounder, Drum and Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore fishing improved yesterday. The fleet brought in a sizable amount of fish to be laid on the docks and it looked good. There was a couple of grand slams reported by Pirates Cove Marina. Yellowfin, Blackfin, Mahi, and Wahoo, some citations with lots of Billfish flags flying were reported.

The winds are W at 9 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Mostly sunny, light winds, small swells.
