Surf Fishing Report:
The conditions for surf fishing was tough yesterday. The grass was terrible and the black flies would make you say a few choice words.
I heard from Keith Griglak from Warren Co, NJ. Keith is finishing up his annual vacation on the OBX. In preparation for his vacation he tracks TW's fishing report all summer long. He said the fishing was typically slow in Corolla catching a few puppy Drum, Sea Mullet and Flounder. They tried something different this year and booked a charter. Caught 9 species of fish and almost a bushel of crabs. He sent pictures and his thanks.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching a couple of Puppy Drum this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Early morning Bluefish.
Nags Head: Pompano and Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Nothing on the board yet.
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Some nearshore boats tried their luck with the stron winds and caught Ribbonfish, False Albacore and Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet stayed in the creek yesterday due to the weather.

The winds are N at 9 and the water temp is mid 70's degrees. Sunny, light winds, choppy swells.
