The Nor’easter hit North Carolina hard. It was a powerful storm. 472,000 people lost power. There were 6 fatalities resulting from highway car crashes.
The Outer Banks was lucky. There were strong winds, some coastal flooding, hard rains and a dusting of snow. There was overwash in Kitty Hawk. Standing water and debris was the reason for the road to be closed on Sunday.
It is a beautiful day. Surely someone will try out the bite today.
We have SW winds at 3 and the water temp is 42 degrees.
