Surf Fishing Report:
The weekend weather is going to be so nice for the holiday. Fishing is improving everyday. OBX is the place to be.
Hatteras Island has Mullet, Pompano and Croaker. We have the same with some nice size Spot added to the mix.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching some Drum, Croaker and small Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Early morning Spanish.
Nags Head: Mullet, Pompano, Bluefish and Drum.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Pompano.
Outer Banks: Sheepshead and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Near shore catching Ribbonfish, Spanish, False Albacore, Sea Bass and Cobia hook ups.
Inshore fishing for Flounder, Trout and Drum remains “so good”.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was an excellent Dolphin day and the Blackfin and Yellowfin kept the anglers busy as well. Plenty Billfish citations.

The winds are N at 17 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Mostly sunny, breezy, small surf.
