Surf Fishing Report:
Hatteras Island had scattered Pompano, Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum Yesterday.
There were some Drum on this side of Oregon Inlet reported in Nags Head.
I have a couple of announcements this morning. It is that time of the year.

Corolla Beach Rescue has extended lifeguard services until Oct 12, 2020. Services will then go back to roving, off season patrols.

Night driving information will be updated daily until the remainder of sea turtle nests have hatched. Night driving information is located in the hours section of our beach access table at  http://go.nps.gov/beachaccess.

Also, this morning the seasonal route south of Ramp 4 (Bodie Island Spit) and a short seasonal route reopened south of Ramp 72 on Ocracoke Island.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching some nice size Trout and Drum Tuesday.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 2 Red Drum, Puppy Drum and Spot.
Nags Head: Red Drum and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Red Drum and Spot.
Outer Banks: 47 in Drum and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Spanish and Bluefish were caught nearshore and Drum were caught by sound anglers.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet did not sail on Tuesday.

The winds are ENE at 14 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Partly sunny, breezy, choppy Ocean
