Surf Fishing Report:
The Drum are here! big Drum and slot Drum everywhere on the Island yesterday. And so were the Bluefish. Frisco reported Bluefish from the Point to Hatteras. Bluefish, Pompano, Sea Mullet and keeper Flounder reported north of Oregon Inlet and some slot Puppy Drum.
They tell me finger mullet was the choice of bait yesterday. I checked the store and we just got in some fresh this morning and it does look good.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout and Drum but overall slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Pompano.
Nags Head: Flounder, Bluefish and Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Pompano and Pinfish.
Outer Banks: Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats caught Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore caught big Drum and slot drum, Bluefish and caught and released Stripers around the bridge. Oct is almost here.

Offshore Boats Report:
A few Boats made it out yesterday and were well rewarded with whites and Blues. They came home with the flags a flying.
The winds are E at 14 and the water temp is 78 degrees. Showers likely, breezy, choppy Ocean.
