Surf Fishing Report:
We are having beautiful weather on this sand bar. Surf fishing was fair yesterday. The Point and the jetties had Sea Mullet and Blow Toads. Scattered Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were scattered on the beaches and Bluefish at the Inlet. On this end there was a good run of Spot and Puppy Drum in S. Nags Head.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Drum and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, nice Sea Mullet, small Trout, 2 keepers.
Nags Head: Mullet, Black Drum, Puppy Drum, Pompano and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum, one 24 in, Trout, Sea Mullet and Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Spanish, Trout and released Cobia. Inshore had limits of Trout and plenty Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the rough conditions there was a good showing of Yellowfin with a whopping citation weighing in at 72 lbs. A few Blackfin and a citation Wahoo was also added.

The winds are NW at 4 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, surfing swells.
