Surf Fishing Report:
It was another beautiful day on the beach but will not be making that statement for a couple of days.
Down on the Island there were Sea Mullet, Pompano, Puppy Drum Spanish and Bluefish at the point. We have scattered Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum, Spot and out of season Flounder.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Drum, Trout, no keeper Flounder and Black Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum and Specs.
Nags Head: Black Drum, Trout and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Spot, Pompano and Black Drum.
Outer Banks: 1 Spanish and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore had a decent day catching Spanish and False Albacore. Sound boats are catching Drum and Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fishing was phenomenal. Perfect weather and good fishing. A combination you cannot beat. The fleet came home with Yellowfin, Blackfin, Dolphin and Wahoo. There were also Marlin releases.

The winds are SSW at 9 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Rain likely, breezy, flat, small swells.
