Surf Fishing Report:
Spanish & Bluefish on lures, Bluefish and Drum on cut bait reported at the Cape. There were Puppy Drum in the Frisco area and Hatteras surf. A few Drum were north of the Inlet.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported really slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: One big Drum last night, One big Red Drum this morning and 3 keeper Puppies.
Nags Head: Lots of Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Sheepshead, Pompano, Spot, Sea Mullet, Trout, Black Drum and Sand Perch, all very small.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The sound fishing boats are staying steady with the Drum and Trout.
Offshore Boats Report:
Off Shore fleet stayed in the creek yesterday due to rough conditions.
The winds are NW at 6 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Showers this morning, breezy, rough Ocean.
