Surf Fishing Report:
Puppy Drum, an abundance of Bluefish and some Spanish were caught at the point, a few puppy Drum reported up and down the Island. On the north beaches all the way to Carova there were Puppy Drum. Ramp 5 was a hot spot yesterday for most anything. I got word there were Trout, plenty Bluefish and Puppy Drum. Despite the fact there was grass in Nags Head there were Drum caught. Grass is bad again today in S. Nags Head. Joe White fishing Oregon Inlet kept his one and so did Bill and they had catch and releases as well.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 1 36 yearling, Puppy Drum and Mullet.
Nags Head: Black Drum, Puppy Drum and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Red Drum, Sea Mullet, Spot, King Mackerel and Puffers
Outer Banks: 1 Spot, a couple of Sea Mullet, Toad and Puppy Drum, lots of grass.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore fishing was slow but some Spanish were caught. Stripers and Sea Mullet caught by the Inlet boats and Drum and Trout in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
The docks were busy with Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo and Mahi and Kings laid out nicely for people to see the catches.

The winds are N at 17 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, breezy, choppy Ocean
