Surf Fishing Report:
I got the thought after talking to the piers we were not expecting this north wind this morning.
Not much news from the Island this morning . We had some nice Drum scattered on our beaches.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching nice Trout and some Drum.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish bite, nice size on cut bait and gotchas, Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Trout, Puppy Drum, keepers, Mullet.
Jennette’s: 4 red Drum, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Black Drum and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Spanish, Bluefish, striper and Trout. Inshore caught Drum and Trout.
Offshore Boats Report:
Only a few boats sailed but good day for those that did. Hey caught limits of Yellowfin,Blackfin and Wahoo.
The winds are N at 8 and the water temp is 78 degrees. Heavy fog, big surf.
