Surf Fishing Report:
The Point reported Drum, some big ones and Bluefishand Pompano. There were also scattered Pompano on most of the beaches. North of the Inlet there were Puppy Drum caught at the Inlet and Nags Head. Drum bite pretty good on the north end of the north beaches from KDH to Carova. The water temp is still in the 70's. That is warm for this time of the year.
I'm happy to get good numbers of pictures everyday. Please state the size of your fish. Everyone should have something to measure with but if you don't a dollar bill is 6 in. That sounds a little off the wall but better than a steep fine you might have to pay.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching small Trout and small Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puffers and Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Mullet, Trout and Black Drum.
Jennette’s: Puppy Drum, Spanish, Spot, and Bluefish and Trout.
Outer Banks: Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The nearshore anglers decked Bluefish and Spanish. Trout and Drum are biting in the sounds.

Offshore Boats Report:
The winds stuck around for another day and kept most of the fleet tied to the docks but the ones that fished caught Blackfin, Yellowfin, Dolphin and Wahoo.

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Partly sunny, light winds, rough Ocean
