Surf Fishing Report:
The surfers are out this morning in good numbers and they got something to work with.
Hatteras Island is slow overall. Good numbers of Puppy Drum was reported at ramp 44. We also have Puppy drum on this sand bar with some Trout thrown in.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 3 keeper Trout and Mullet.
Nags Head: Trout, Black Drum, Mullet, Spot and Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Spot, Mullet and Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Black Drum, Sea mullet, Bluefish and Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Conditions kept the open boats in the Inlet catching Sea Mullet. Sound fishing was good reporting Drum and Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
Only a few boats sailed but they added some good catches of Blackfin, Yellowfin and some Dolphin to the fish boxes and even a wahoo. A Sailfish and a White Marlin were released.

The winds are NE at 17 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Heavy rain expected, breezy, great surfing swells.
