Surf Fishing Report:
Hatteras Island reported some scattered Drum and Sea mullet at ramp 49. Oregon Inlet had Drum all day. In Kitty Hawk the Tyson's caught Drum, Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Trout using Bloodworms. Nice size Trout are scattered on the beaches. Duck has had their share of Drum and Trout and there have been several citations Trout caught.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching early morning Trout and Drum off and on through the day.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Loads of Specks and Blues and not a keeper in the bunch.
Nags Head: Spot, Sea Mullet, Black Drum and Flounder.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Black Drum.
Outer Banks: Puffers, Bluefish and Spanish off the end.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers caught Gray Trout, and False Albacore. The Inlet boats reported Trout and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet brought in a bounty of meat fish catching Yellowfin, Blackfin, Dolphin and some Wahoo. There were also Billfish caught and released.

The winds are SW at 6 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Mostly sunny, light winds, small surf.
