Surf Fishing Report:
There were a few Bluefish, Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet caught on the Island and some Trout, Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet scattered on the North beaches. There was a Big Trout bite in S. Nags Head late afternoon yesterday and early morning today.
I have my regular every year big hunt picture from Doug Woods. He has sent a picture, sometimes 2 every year for many years. It is not always a deer but this is a beaut.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout and Puppy Drum this morning.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Trout, some keepers.
Jennette’s: Small Trout.
Outer Banks: Trout, Black Drum and small Spot.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No fishing report.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet stayed in the creek again.
The winds are SSE at 13 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Mostly sunny, showers likely, pleasant winds, small swells.
