Well looks like it’s going to be a rainy Friday here on the beach. The water has gotten muddy and cooled down over night. Your best bet for fishing this weekend looks like fishing the bottom for sea mullet. Hopefully sometime by mid next week we can get some more Northeast wind to help warm up and clean the water.

Surf - Yesterday there was a decent amount of small trout caught up and down the beach throwing grubs on trout rods. There were also a few sea mullet and puppy drum caught on bait.

Piers - There was a great spanish bite on all the piers yesterday before the water muddied up and cooled down! The lures of choice was either a gotcha plug or sting silver thrown on a trout rod with braided line.

Inshore - Still a few cobia swimming around and the boats trolling are doing good with spanish and blues. Back in the sound there has been a decent amount of trout, puppy drum and even a few flounder caught throwing grubs on trout rods.

Offshore - Great offshore fishing over the past few days!! The boats have been coming back with a bunch of mahi, bigeyes, yellow fin and even releasing a few billfish!!
