Looks like it’s going to be a pretty Saturday here on the Outer Banks. Today we have light NW winds. Best bet for fishing today if you plan on fishing off the beach would be targeting sea mullet and puppy drum. If you are up for fishing the sound it should be a great day for catching trout and puppy drum on lures. Water temps are still hanging in the low 60’s.

Surf - Few sea mullet around yesterday on the northern beaches. Down south there were a few puppy drum, sea mullet blues and spanish.

Piers - With the dirty water hanging around the pier they are mainly catching bottom fish. There were a few guys that put in the time throwing grubs and they ended up catching a few trout and bluefish.

Inshore - Good amount of blues and spanish for the guys trolling outside the inlet. The boats that decided to make the run to bottom fish around the wrecks came back with a few sea bass and the guys that stayed inside had a great run of puppy drum and trout throwing lures on trout rods.

Offshore - For the boats that decided to go out yesterday they came back with a good amount of mahi and a few yellowfin.
