Yesterday -  The wind picked up pretty rapidly throughout the day yesterday, but despite the steady winds there was still some decent fishing. This morning looks like we have some decent southwest winds at around 18mph with gust up to 22mph. Looks like these steady southwest winds will be sticking around until we get the next cold front Tuesday night. Yesterday was the final day of the Big Rock tournament and WideSpread out of Oregon Inlet takes the win with a 656.5lbs blue marlin!!

Surf - A few sea mullet were caught on shrimp, bloodworms and sand fleas up here on the northern beaches yesterday. Down on the southern beaches they found a few puppy drum, pompano, and Spanish around ramp 55.

Piers - A few spanish early in the morning yesterday, but once that wind pick up fishing slowed down and the sea mullet were the only things bitting throughout the day.

Inshore - A few spanish and blues for the guys trolling outside the inlet and for the guys that stayed inside they found some trout, puppy drum, and flounder.

Offshore - A few boats went out yesterday and found there limits of mahi, bigeyes, yellowfin and a few blue marlin. After looking at the webcams this morning it looks like most of the boats stayed at the docks today with the weather conditions we will have today through midweek there probably won’t be to many guys going offshore.
