Today is going to be a nice leap day with the temp reaching the 60’s.
A good variety of fish were caught yesterday on the south beaches. Cape Point caught Puppies, Dog sharks and Skates. There were Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Blow Toads and Puppies at the jellies. Anglers in Hatteras beached small Black Drum and Blow Toads and Frisco had Puppies and Blow Toad.
There were fishermen on the beaches in S. Nags Head and ramp 4. I did not hear of any hook ups.
We have SW winds at 18 and the water temp is 45 degrees.
