The piers had a good day yesterday catching BLACK DRUM, POMPANO, SEA MULLET, SPADEFISH, SHEEPSHEAD, BLUEFISH. There were also a few SPANISH and KING MACKEREL mixed in.
From the beaches there were SEA MULLET, CROAKER, POMPANO and a few FLOUNDER.
In the sound there were good catches of SPECKLED TROUT, BLUEFISH, DRUM and releases of FLOUNDER AND STRIPER.
Nearshore had a good day catching SPANISH MACKEREL, KING MACKEREL, DRUM, RIBBON FISH and BLUEFISH.
The majority of the Offshore boats are fishing in the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament. For the few that are not they had a great day catching YELLOWFIN, MAHI, TILEFISH and a few released WHITE AND BLUE MARLIN.
