There is a high wind warning for the Outer Banks today. There will be some sound side flooding and coastal overwash. A coastal flood warning has been issued from 10 am to 4 a.m. We have had a tremendous amount of rain this past week and more rain today.
Most people will be hunkered down watching the game today and that is probably a good thing considering it has been predicted winds could reach as high as 60 mph.
We have NNE winds at 24 and the water temp is 44 degrees.
