Good Thursday morning, it's a little cloudy with rain in the forecast for today here on the Outer Banks.The good news is the wind has switched to NE. Which means fishing should pick up off the piers and beaches.

Pier Fishing Report:
The piers had a good day yesterday with ALBACORE, POMPANO, BLUE FISH, SPANISH MACKEREL, SEA MULLET,  PUPPY DRUM, SPOT  and CROAKER.

Surf Fishing Report:
There were some SPANISH and FALSE ALBACORE caught from the beaches yesterday using stingsilvers. While using fresh bait such as mullet, shrimp, bloodworm and sandflea. There was DRUM, SEA MULLET, POMPANO, CROAKER, SPOT, BLUE FISH and a few BLOW TOADS caught.

Inshore/Sound Fishing Report:
Sound fishing was excellent with DRUM, FLOUNDER, SPECKLED TROUT, and STRIPER.

Neashore Fishing Report:
Nearshore boats had good luck catching SPANISH MACKEREL, FALSE ALBACORE, BLUEFISH, DRUM and RIBBON FISH.

Offshore Fishing Report:
The offshore guys had great day catching TUNA, WAHOO,  MAHI, BLUE MARLIN and SAILFISH.
