October 12th Fishing Report:
We are experiencing very rough conditions due to a tropical system offshore. It has made it too rough for the offshore and nearshore boats to get out.
It is also making it difficult to fish from the beaches with strong current and high surf. With that being said, fishing from the piers and in sound is doing well.
Pier Fishing Report:
CROAKER, SPOT, BLUE FISH, BLACK DRUM and larger DRUM have been caught from all the piers.
Surf Fishing Report:
No report.
Inshore/Sound Fishing Report:
There were STRIPER, PUPPY DRUM and SPECKLED TROUT caught in the sound. There are also SHEEPSHEAD around the bridges!
