Surf Fishing Report:
It was a good Sea Mullet day with citations weighed in, Pompano and Bluefish were also caught. There was a Cobia caught at ramp 38. There was some excitement at Oregon Inlet when a short Bluefish blitz occurred. Joe White said he and 2 other anglers had their limit in minutes.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Black Drum, Puppy Drum, the Trout slowed a little to what it had been.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Stripers and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: closed.
Jennette’s: not open yet..
Outer Banks: Some Bluefish on artificial lures.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore catching Drum and good Trout fishing continues. Nearshore Trout, Spanish and Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater fleet caught plenty Yellowfin and decent Dolphin.

The winds are NE at 5 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny rain likely later, light winds, small swells.
