Surf Fishing Report:
Hatteras Island reporting Sea Mullett, Pompano and Black Drum on the south and north beaches. We have Puppy Drum at Oregon Inlet and Bluefish and Spot scattered up and down.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout again this morning and Black Drum under the bridge with shrimp.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:.Sea Mulet and Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: closed.
Jennette’s: not open yet..
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Spot and Croaker.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The inshore boats had a special day catching their limits of Red Drum and Trout on spinning rods and fly rods. A couple of inlet boats also caught Spanish, Puppy Drum and Trout.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats came back with generous amount of meatfish in their cooler bringing home Yellowfin, Wahoo and dolphin.
The winds are S at 8 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Raining, light winds, small swells.
