Surf Fishing Report:
Not much to say about surf fishing this morning. It was a slow day and I expected it to be with the flat ocean and I was looking for lots of skate news and I got that. The Island was slow with some Pompano and Sea Mullet. Kitty Hawk reported some big Sea Mullet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout is biting this morning. I have a picture this morning of a Spanish caught in Kitty Hawk Bay. I know it better as Buzzard Bay. I don't live on the bay but like across the street from it. A Spanish caught on the bay is unusual I think. If it is not I am sure I will get word from someone.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: closed.
Jennette’s: not open yet..
Outer Banks: Trout, Blues and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The word is the Cobia fishing was amazing Saturday after noon. Several citations were weighed in. Nearshore also caught Bluefish and Spanish

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a Tuna day. Plenty Yellowfin and mammoth size Big Eyes weighing up to 243 lbs. Dolphin were running a little scarce. There were citation Yellowfin caught, Wahoo and Big-eyes. I don't thinks inshore has had better Trout fishing in awhile.

The winds are N at 21 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Mostly sunny, breezy, choppy surf.
