Yesterday was a beautiful day. Plenty of people fishing, not much catching. Saturday was a big Drum day at Oregon Inlet. Everybody caught Drum and went back for more on Sunday. As they say, you can’t catch yesterday’s fish. Dan Hardy caught a 26 ½ in Drum. The only one I witness. The grass was terrible at the Inlet. I was told there was none in S. Nags Head.
A couple of charters fished Sunday. They caught a few Yellowfin.
The wind is SW at 14 and the water temp is 59 degrees. It is another nice day to be on the beach, though I fear the fishing will be slow. The temp could hit 70 degrees. The water is flat.
