Surf Fishing Report:
For the most part it was a good weekend. Yesterdays winds cause a problem with surf and offshore fishing.
There were Sea Mullet scattered up and down the Island with some Puppy Drum. Yesterday was slow everywhere.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum, Croaker and Spot. The Wildlife pier on the causeway had the same.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:A couple of Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Stripers
Nags Head: closed.
Jennette’s: not open yet.
Outer Banks: Sea mullet and Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Cobia fishing was good all weekend and excellent Cobia catches Sunday.
Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater fleet stayed in the creek yesterday.
The winds are NW at 8 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small swells.
