Yesterday was such a beautiful day for the beach. Fishing is slow on the northern beaches. I think it also has to do with the lack of fishermen. Sea Mullet, Spot, Toads, Bluefish on metal or bait and Drum are biting from Avon to Hatteras. Lots of Shark at the point.
The blue water boats decked Dolphin, Yellowfin, 4 Big-eye citations and a Blue Marlin release.
The piers have been catching Croakers, Spot, Sea Mullet, Puffers and Skate. There is heavy fog this morning. Avalon is catching Shad and Puffers and OBX Pier is catching the same.
I have another Gobbler picture this morning. Kyle Moore from Mineral, VA bagged a nice one.
The wind is W at 7 and the water temp is 52 degrees.
