Surf Fishing Report:
This week has had SW winds everyday and it has certainly been a problem. If nothing else the skates are an aggravation. There has been Pompano and Sea Mullet reported along the Hatteras beaches and we have Sea Mullet and small Trout. Also a couple of no keeper Stripers has been caught again from the north beaches. Some Blow toads scattered along with the skate.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good trout day with some Drum and Black Drum.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet.
Nags Head: closed.
Jennette’s: I have been told they are open but I have not been able to confirm.
Outer Banks: Good run of Trout, some Gray trout.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The wind is a problem everyday for the boats but they still had decent catches. Near shore fleet reported Spanish, Tilefish, Sea Bass and Cobia. Inshore anglers caught Bluefish, Trout and Drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet returned to shore with good results. The Sharks were a problem but there were good numbers of Yellowfin, Black fin caught. There were some Big-eyes and a few Mahi.
The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 59 degrees. Partly sunny, thunderstorms likely later, light winds, small swells.

TW’s Bait and Tackle, located in Nags Head, seeks full-time individual to assist in the stores clothing department. Candidates should have great organizational and interpersonal skills. Clothing experience is not required but helpful.
This position runs through November with an option of renewal pending review. Flexible work hours. Job to include receiving, pricing, stocking, organizing, displaying and inventory of clothing plus maintaining a clean and tidy clothing department.

TW’s Bait and Tackle, located in Nags Head and Kitty Hawk seeks full-time, experienced anglers to join their sales staff. Applicants must have knowledge of fishing, knots, lures, tackle and baits. Prior sales experience is preferred but not required. Friendly helpful service is our motto so we’re looking for positive, outgoing individuals with exceptional social skills.
This full time position runs through the end of the year, with an option of renewal pending review. Flexible work hours. Job will include sales, receiving, pricing, stocking, organizing and cleaning. No job too big, no job too small, the crew at TW’s share them all! Hourly rate depending on experience and motivation.
