The NPS closed the point this morning. It was not expected to happen this early. No reason was given.
Fishing was good yesterday south of us. Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Blow Toads and Drum were beached.
Anglers are catching some Drum on jigs south of Oregon Inlet Bridge in the jetties area.
Oregon Inlet reported a 67 in Bluefin Tuna. Also Yellowfin and Dolphin.
The piers are open. They are catching Dogfish and Skate.
Zane Edwards from Manteo bagged a 21.5 lb Turkey. Zane was hunting in Currituck.
We have S wind at 6 and the water temp is 43 degrees.
