Though they closed the point for Oystercatcher breeding behavior yesterday you can walk below the high tide line in the water to the point. There was another big bite of Puppy Drum at the point late afternoon on Tuesday. Blow toads, Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were caught at ramp 49.
Drum were caught on the south side of the Oregon Inlet Bridge yesterday. I have no report for anything on this side.
The piers are slow. Nags Head caught some Shad yesterday. OBX reported a Sea Mullet.
There is no boat news to report.
The wind is SW at 5 and the water temp is 43 degrees. Water is flat and we have rain.
