Surf Fishing Report:

Sea Mullet and Pompano was the the fish of the day on Hatteras Island with good numbers of Pompano citations. We can report the same for this side of the bridge with some Spot and Bluefish thrown in.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported the Trout bite is better today.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:Sea Mullet, Spot on blood worms and a few Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Blues at day break, few Trout and Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Blues & Skates
Outer Banks: Early morning Bluefish with a few Spanish within and Skates.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore had a good day catching Red Drum, Bluefish, Spanish, and Trout. Nearshore anglers had big Spanish bite, Cobia, Bluefish and King Mackerel.

Offshore Boats Report:
The coolers were packed tight with Yellowfin, Dolphin and Big-eyes. There also was a Blue Marlin release.

The winds are SW at 14 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny, breezy, small swells.
