Surf Fishing Report:

Happy Mother’s day to all. I hope everyone remembered TW’s have great presents for Mothers day.

Surf fishermen are catching Sea Mullet, Toads and Bluefish. Small Bluefish are really a good pan fish. When I started fishing the Outer Banks one of the first piece of info I received from a local was to soak a Bluefish in milk and a little soy sauce and it can’t get any better than that.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 64 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported few Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Plenty of Drum. 37 in, 38 in, 21 in and so on. Lots of Bluefish.

Nags Head: Blues, Trout and Mullet.

Jennette’s: 30 in Drum, Sea Mullet, Croaker, Gray Trout and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Gray Trout, Mullet, Spot, Blues and Croaker.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No report.

Offshore Boats Report:
The weather is still holding so the boats can make it out. Saturday was another good day of Dolphin and Yellowfin catches.
