Surf Fishing Report:

Mothers Day was a beautiful day and fishing was fair from the surf. Sea Mullet and Toads were caught north of the bridge.

We have the remnants of Ana this morning. We have lots of rain and some thunder. The water is not as rough as expected.

The winds are SE at 18 and water temp is 59 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon:

Nags Head:

Jennette’s Pier: Sea Mullet, Croaker and Bluefish. Water temp is 61 degrees.

Outer Banks:
 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Trolling boats are catching lots of Bluefish. There were Spanish caught inside the Inlet.


Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the wind, the offshore fleet caught Dolphin, Yellowfin, a 91 lb Mako and Big-eye ranging from 122 to 201 lbs.
