Surf Fishing Report:
There is Puppy Drum news this morning. Dennie Bomar and friend Malon Poindexter caught 3 Drum and had 2 pull downs yesterday in South Nags Head. One Drum was over the slot. The water looks good again this morning for Drum fishing. Yesterday was the last day for ORV’s driving KDH and Nags Head until fall.
The beaches on the other side of the bridge caught Sea Mullet, Blow Toads Bluefish and Drum.
The wind is NE at 13 this morning, but expected to increase later today. The water temp is 55 degrees.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish early and lots of Sea mullet.
Nags Head: A few nice Trout, Blow Toads and Sea Mullet. Bait and got‘chas are catching Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Shad and Bluefish
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Blow Toads and Spot.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No Report
Offshore Boats Report:
Dolphin fishing was exceptional yesterday. Yellowfin and Blackfin were fair.
