Surf Fishing Report:
The weather has been downright chilly the last 2 mornings. We are expecting a warm up for the weekend.
There were bottom fish and Blues caught on our beaches yesterday and a Drum was also reported in south Nags Head. I think today will be a Drum day.
The wind is NE at 8 and the water temp is 64 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported lots of Spot, Croaker and plenty of throwback Trout. There were maybe 3 keepers caught yesterday.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Trout, Sea Mullet, Spot and Drum. Some over the slot.
Nags Head: Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Caught 2 big Drum yesterday.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Spot and Blow toads. Caught 2 keeper Drum and 1 over yesterday.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Click Sea Mullet and Bluefish were caught from the inshore boats. Miss Oregon Inlet decked Sea Mullet, Pigfish, Croaker and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
Plenty of Dolphin and limits of Yellowfin filled the boxes of our offshore charters. Pirates Cove bottom fishermen came back with Triggers and Sea Bass.
