Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing may be slow today. The water is flat and glassy. There should be some small bottom fish and a few Bluefish.

The winds are at SW at 12 and the water temp is 54 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Croaker and small Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Blues and Sea mullet.

Nags Head: Blues and Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats caught loads of Bluefish. I might add this note. Cobia arrived has arrived in Hatteras. It should not be long now before I will have Cobia to report on this end.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet had 26 boats to set sail on Sunday. It was a citation day. There were 18 Big-eyes caught.  Some up to 227 lbs. There were loads of Dolphin and Tuna decked. There was a Blue Marlin Release. Pirates Cove also had a Blue Marlin release and 2 White Marlins.
